Hey Everyone,
Here is the concept for WHEN GUAM WAS MY WORLD wallet design two. The math wallet is now available for sale with issue number on Hungry Creators. I want to thank allllllll the people out there who bought the comic, read the comic, commented on the comic, and those intending on reading it. I absolutely value your role in my growth. To all new comic friends that I met at the Vegas Valley Comic Book Festival, thanks for the trades and I’m enjoying the experience of reading your work. I can’t believe the amount of contacts and feel very hopeful about this comic community building. I am up for any questions or critiques to keep improving. Please email pilario.hungrycreators@gmail.com if you want to reach me!
Btw, this is the back cover of the wallet. Working on the front toniiight and tomorrow! So hopefully if your pretty eyes come by Friday, it will be done! :D
Today was a success. I will write more details about this absolutely wonderful day. But just so you know, I am such a happy camper with the results of today and my hopes for the future. I am soooo cheesin’ right now over this person reading WHEN GUAM WAS MY WORLD.
Always an Island girl. Never an island.
The last staple to the first stack of copies to WHEN GUAM WAS MY WORLD issue 1 was saddle stitched today! It is official. The 48 page comic will be released at the Vegas Valley Comic Book festival and after tomorrow it will be available for purchase online here at the Hungry Creators store. Every copy purchased will have an opportunity to get a free caricature. There will be lots of good ART-FUN! down at the Hungry Creators Booth tomorrow in the Flamingo Library from 10am-4pm.
Here’s page 9 of WHEN GUAM WAS MY WORLD issue 1. It’s one of my favorite pages and really captures the dynamic of the whole issue. I am counting down the days for the VEGAS VALLEY COMIC BOOK FESTIVAL. Hope to see you at the Flamingo Library Saturday Nov. 5 from 10am-4pm.
Hello Readers!
This is page 12 of WHEN GUAM WAS MY WORLD issue 1. It was from an old idea/comic that I did last year about this time. To save you time from digging in the archives, you can click here to see the development in my style. I hope all of you come on down and visit the Hungry Creators booth at the Vegas Valley Comic Book Festival on Saturday November 5th from 10am-4pm! Admission is free!
Hi Everyone,
This week is photoshop mania! Here is one of my favorite pages that have not been pho-sho’d! :D Hope you enjoy this! Stay tuned for November 4, 2011! It is the release of WHEN GUAM WAS MY WORLD!! aHHHHH! You will be able to order it on the Hungry Creators website soon or pick up a copy at the Vegas Valley Comic Book Festival!
Last page (pg 16) for the first issue of WHEN GUAM WAS MY WORLD. Sorry for the week’s delay. My work week is now being consumed by a top secret HUNGRY CREATORS project.
What a relief and pleasure to finally be halfway done with this project. All of September will be photoshopping, printing, and binding the mini comic for the Vegas Valley Comic Book Festival and the Las Vegas SuperCon.
Thanks for your patience readers. You will be in for a real treat coming this fall!
